By chance, do you know a woman named Harriet Dejoiya (sp?). She was the Forest Service Ranger that took me to Cohutta for the first time and got me the gig reblazing the trails there. She led lots of talks and walks in that area. I met her on a walk to learn bird songs while I was living in Dalton.

ReplyDeleteIt's still sitting up on Lake Conasauga Road in the Cohutta Wilderness, as far as I know...and I think it's actually for sale.

ReplyDeleteThe name does sound familiar, but I don't know her personally. Maybe I met her on a birding hike or something.
