an afternoon in the sun

  1. Oh my, you've managed it again, made something universal out of something specific. I see the central figure and could wake up 50 years ago and think: well, there's a good one of brother Frank. Kids having fun have the same postures in all times, and some of the satellite figures are dressed in modern fashion, but you zeroed in on the timeless one. Brava!

  2. Thank you very much. I'm happy that spirit of play emerged from this. I feel into one of the peripheral character's heart a little more than into that of the central figure, but that's just me, and it's wonderful for me to read how this connected you to Frank. I really appreciate your insightful, specific comments, Geo.
