I took this picture at my dad and stepmom's place in Monroe, Georgia, on Christmas 2009. The leaf seems to me to want to be a creature of some sort, perhaps a groundhog or other small ground-dwelling mammal. I called this effect out a bit by playing with the contrast in the photograph but did not do anything else to settle it there.
