This is fascinating. Find myself --used to work in an art and sign supply-- thinking, questioning: Vasari, high-end, tube squeezed from the left hand (while dominant right attends to a tool?). Heating coil under pyrex pot? Encaustic work? Jasper --some of which appears on the plate glass-- is good for landscapes. Your photograph is a picture that forms pictures in the mind!What fun!
